Salisbury Door and Hardware is now looking for an independent-minded, solutions-oriented Installation Technician for our road crews. This individual will work with a Lead Installer and be in a position to both “learn” and to “do.” All vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials will be furnished by Salisbury Door and Hardware. This position reports to our Manager of Installation, and the Lead Installer. We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.

A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented. This position reports to our warehouse Manager and should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.

Responsibilities 

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damage.
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments.
• Organize warehouse space.
• Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Check, verify, and fill customer invoices.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.

Requirements and skills 

• Proven warehouse experience
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
